As temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days, we have decided to bring forward the second training session to tomorrow, trying to hold the third training session next Friday, as very high temperatures are expected at the weekend.

PRIZES PAYMENT - RACE 2025 (as Regulations states)

RESIDENTES EM PORTUGAL-The payment of prizes to residents in Portugal will be made available to the winners after AGR has received a copy of the tax/fiscal number and IBAN of the bank account. Winners resident in Portugal pay 25% tax IRS.

NON RESIDENTS IN PORTUGAL- Payment of prizes to non-residents in Portugal will be made available to the winners in full amount, as soon as AGR receives the original document Fiscal Residence Certificate + RFI model 21,( european model ) and IBAN of the bank account.

- Fiscal Residence Certificate- May be requested in the Tax Authority office of each country;

- RFI model 21- it's an european model: just needs to be fill out and signed. Should be sent together with Fiscal Residence Certificate. RFI model can be printed from our website and only signed by participant, do not need stamp/sign from any tax autority .

Whoever does not send these documents until November 30, 2025, the 25% tax will be withdrawn from prizes amount and delivered to the Tax Authority in Portugal.

Prizes will be available and paid to winners when Algarve Golden Race receives the ORIGINAL of these documents, because Portuguese Authorities do not accept copies of these documents.

 GOLDEN RACE ALGARVE - INFORMATION SEMIFINAL 2025
After Hotspot 5, which was a very difficult race due to high temperatures, and then, without us knowing why, the pigeons had difficulty leaving the release area. About half of them left quickly, and the other half remained in circles for a long time, which caused fatigue. Then, with the high temperatures, many had difficulty and were unable to reach the loft. We regret this.

GOLDEN RACE ALGARVE 2025 - INFORMATION HOTSPOT 1 & 2

Due to the high temperatures in Portugal this week, with highs exceeding 40°C every day, it was not possible to hold the scheduled training and the 1st Hotspot/Ace Pigeon.
Since temperatures will drop next week and the pigeons trained well around the loft throughout the week with early flights. We have verified that the pigeons are in good condition, so:
- We will hold the 1st Hotspot & 1st Ace Pigeon next Monday, August 18th in PORTEL, 126KM, with basketing the night before.
- We will hold the 2nd Hotspot & 2nd Ace Pigeon on Friday, August 22nd in ALANDROAL, 170KM, with basketing the night before. - There will be pigeon-by-pigeon basketing in benzing to check the pigeon rings and ensure that all pigeons have been assigned a benzing chip.
- Basketing will be pigeon-by-pigeon in benzing in all HOTSPOTS.

GOLDEN RACE ALGARVE 2025- 7º TREINO 120 KM

EN- The 7TH training session scheduled for tomorrow, August 12th, at a distance 120 km, has been postponed until further notice due to the high temperatures expected throughout the country in the coming days, with highs of 44°C in the release areas. At 9 am, temperatures will already be 33°C, which will prevent the release of the pigeons.

POSTPONEMENT OF THE 6TH TRAINING SESSION 2025 - 70KM
After analyzing the weather forecast for this week with our meteorologist, ORG AGR informs that due to the high temperatures forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 5th, in the release area and throughout most of the country, with minimum temperatures of 22°C and maximum temperatures of 40°C, the 6th training session, at a distance of 70 km, will be postponed until the next few days. We will inform the training date as soon as possible, as temperatures are expected to drop slightly, especially the minimums, which will allow for early release of the pigeons, even when temperatures are not very high.

INFORMATION GOLDEN RACE ALGARVE- MILLION EURO PIGEON RACE
EN- As everyone is aware, the €1,000 fee payable by each team participating in the Golden Race Algarve is due upon arrival of the pigeons into the loft, which corresponds to two activated pigeons. Therefore, those who have not yet paid must do so by August 10, 2025, as the first HOTSPOT with cash prizes will take place on August 15, and teams that have not been paid will not win any prizes.
Teams that have not been paid will be excluded from the race.

- The third training session for 2025 will take place tomorrow, Friday, July 25, 2025, at a distance of 30km.
- As in the first two training sessions, the release was conducted in three parts, allowing the pigeons to get used to flying to the loft with fewer pigeons, which allowed for better orientation.
- The third training session will feature a combined release of all pigeons.
- There will be finish classifications benzing, and the release and arrival of the pigeons will be filmed live on Facebook.
- Basketing will take place this Thursday evening due to the heat. - There will be no basketing in benzing pigeons one by one, so all arriving pigeons will be registered in the benzing classifications.

Who is not yet registered with IPE_AUCTIONS, can do, by filling in all the fields of the registration, as registrations without complete information, including the delivery address of the pigeons (delivery address) will not be accepted

  - Credit policy for auctions 2024-
  After registration, the IPE Administration will analyze the registration, and the initial approval will garanty a credit of €500, which can be increased upon request to the email - admin@ipe-auctions.eu, with information about the person.
  We appreciate your understanding, as in previous years many people register and then do not pay for the pigeons, and then we do not have enough information to receive the money, harming other bidders and the owners of the pigeons.
  All bidders who already have an account from previous years will keep the same credit.
  New registrations will be accepted or not, within 48 hours.

GOLDEN RACE ALGARVE 2024 - PRIZE INFORMATION
Now that the Golden Race Algarve 2024 has finished, with the final race taking place on October 5th, we would like to inform you of the following:
- As you know, all prizes are subject to a 25% tax.
- Foreigners do not pay this tax (25%) and will receive the full prize, provided they send us by mail (the original) the CERTIFICATE OF TAX RESIDENCE from the country of tax residence.

- Tomorrow, Friday. On October 11th, we will load all prizes into the personal accounts of the participants and from Monday, October 14th, we will start making payments to the winners under the following conditions:
- Portuguese participants must send their bank account IBAN and tax number to the email golden.race.algarve@gmail.com
- Foreign participants must send their bank account IBAN + tax residence certificate to the office address
